Completed a two year approved podiatric surgical residency program with concentration in advance surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle complex.  Received extensive exposure to limb salvage along with the surgical management of pediatric foot deformities.  Responsibilities included independent, though supervised, management of all hospitalized patients on the podiatry service.

Completed a one year approved podiatric orthopaedic residency program with rotations in podiatric medicine and surgery, orthopaedic surgery, internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, general and plastic surgery, emergency room, anesthesiology, pathology, radiology and addictive disease. Rotations included didactic and active participation in patient care and management.  Involved directly in the care of incarcerated orthopaedic patients from the Department of Corrections of the City of Philadelphia's prison department.  Attained board eligible status following completion of the residency program.
